Wayne has been a lending specialist in the mortgage banking industry since 1989, and serves as President of New Home Finance, LLC, as well as Retire Secure, LLC, which specializes in reverse loans. He is a partner in Mortgage Banking Advisors, which is a consulting firm serving community banks.
Wayne’s professional experience includes positions at Lomas & Nettleton and Southeast Bank. Prior to starting New Home Finance, Wayne served as the Executive Vice President for the mortgage division of John Wieland Homes. He served for numerous years on the National Homebuilders High Production Council, and has vast experience in financing new construction, underwriting guidelines regulatory compliance issues, and Sales & Marketing. He currently sits on the Board of Governors for the Atlanta Chapter of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia as well as the Executive Finance Committee for the First Baptist Church of Alpharetta, Georgia.
Wayne is a native of Georgia, who was born in Atlanta’s Crawford Long Hospital. He was raised in Alpharetta, and is a graduate of Milton High School and the University of Georgia. In addition to his leadership positions in the real estate industry and church, Wayne has coached over 40 youth football and basketball teams for his four children. He enjoys fishing, golfing, traveling, and is an avid supporter of the University of Georgia.
